Volunteer
In the early days of the project at Slobozia, the care of the children largely depended on the work of U.K. volunteers from all walks of life who gave their time and their expertise to care for very vulnerable children often with AIDS and other serious illness.
Nowadays, the care of the children is, as it should be, dependent on dedicated Romanian staff under the guidance of Noreen who oversees all the staff.
But, although there are fewer opportunities, we still do have a need for volunteers with particular skills and experience who may be able to help and more especially pass on their expertise to the Romanian staff.
