Plans for 2020

The Covid epidemic has played havoc with our fundraising schedule , so we are very grateful to Andy Dunn.
Andy is running an incredible jaunt round Snowdonia known as the Paddy Buckley round.
It is well known in mountain running circles and involves a run of 61 miles and up 8000 metres of ascent altogether visiting 47 peaks in the Snowdonia district. He aims to do this in under 24 hours.
The training has involved several visits to Snowdonia since the lockdown allowed this.
Best of all he is asking for sponsorship for this ultramarathon for Noreen's Kids.
Please sponsor Andy who is aiming to run on 23rd August and will run continuously for around 23+ hours, so hopefully he will finish on the 24th .
Please help by Sponsoring Andy Let's make all that hard training worthwhile!
Update
Everything that could frustrate his attempt has happened!
Andy had two attempts to complete the run on the first occasion he had already completed three quarters of the run when the weather deteriorated - storm Julian arrived which made it impossible to run with 90 m.p.h. winds on the top of Snowdon particularly as this section would have been run at night. On the second go his support team were to have stayed in Betws - y - Coed which was locked down at the last minute and there was another storm on the night he was to have run!
Nothing daunted he will have another go next year all being well.
